Current status

DWGConvert uses a self-hosted conversion engine. Availability depends on that service being deployed and healthy; the interface never simulates a conversion when it is unavailable.

What we collect

When you use a conversion tool, we receive the file you upload and the conversion settings you choose. We do not require an account, an email address, or any other personal information to convert a file.

How long we keep your file

Each upload is written to an isolated temporary directory while it is converted. The source, intermediate files, and server-side output are deleted when that request finishes, whether it succeeds or fails. We do not keep a server-side copy after returning the output, and we do not use files to improve a product or model.

Conversion processing

Files are processed by DWGConvert's self-hosted LibreDWG, LibreCAD, and ImageMagick service. They are not sent to a metered third-party conversion API.

The ZIP extraction tool is different

The extract DWG files from ZIP tool does not send your file anywhere — it runs entirely in your browser and nothing is uploaded to the conversion service for that tool specifically.

What we don't do

• We don't sell or share your files with a third-party conversion API.
• We don't require login or track you across sessions to use a converter.
• We don't use third-party analytics, ad trackers, or tag managers on this site.
